How can we build a democratic Syria? How can we organize free and fair elections? How can people be compensated for past injustices? These and many other similar questions were of utmost importance, especially shortly after the Syrian revolution began in the spring of 2011. Despite the numerous setbacks, there are many opposition politicians and activists who continue to believe in a democratic future for Syria and are committed to making this a reality. We would like to ensure that these forces can make their voices be heard. As part of our project “One Constitution for All Syrians”, we ask politicians and activists about their opinion on constitutional issues and their vision of a democratic Syria. These and other questions are in the focus of our interviews.
